Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I contact 24/7 Trailer Rentals, LLC?
+
While our system runs 24/7, our bodies don’t. We recommend using email—phone calls and texts may be delayed. Email gives both of us reasonable time to respond properly and keeps communication clear.
2. Does my vehicle meet the requirements for what I’m towing?
+
That’s your responsibility to confirm. We provide accurate trailer specs. From there, it’s up to you to verify compatibility. Check your vehicle’s owner’s manual and remember: you can only tow as much as your weakest component (hitch, frame, tires, brakes, etc.).
3. How do I gain access to my rental?
+
Instructions are provided after checkout. You can also watch the step-by-step video in the “How To” section for a complete walkthrough of check-in and check-out.
4. What if I need to extend my rental period?
+
We get it—plans change. If you need more time, just book the additional time online. If the trailer isn’t available, please return it on time out of respect for the next renter. We’re a community—someone else is counting on that trailer too.
5. Do you offer additional insurance coverage?
+
No. The trailer is covered under your own insurance policy. You assume full responsibility for the trailer during your rental period. We do not hide costs nor possible costs like other companies.
6. What if I lose or damage a trailer tire?
+
Just like a rental car, you’re responsible for the tires while the trailer is in your possession. Please use your credit card roadside assistance, Triple A, tow company, or roadside assistance company. Then, send us an email to let us know!
7. What if I can’t back the trailer into the parking spot?
+
We know backing up a trailer can be intimidating. That’s why:
- We provide tips in the “How To” section
- We recommend bringing a capable spotter
- Our return lanes are wider than standard and clearly marked
If the trailer is left outside the proper space or unlocked, a $30 fee applies for repositioning.
8. What additional fees should I know about?
+
We keep it simple. Here’s when additional charges may apply:
- $30 – Trailer not returned to proper parking location
- Damage fees – Varies on damage.
- Cleaning fee – If trailer is returned and not broom clean. We understand that vehicles often leak fluids on car haulers.
- Late return fee – If not booked for additional time
All fees are clearly listed in the rental agreement. We’re not out to nickel-and-dime anyone, just asking for basic respect of equipment and other renters.
